Join the DC Noles for our Seminole Service Day Project at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens Volunteer Day on March 22nd, 2014!  The service project will start at 9am with on-site registration opening 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. Please arrive no later than 8:45am so we can start promptly at 9am!  Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens is located at 1550 Anacostia Avenue NE Washington, DC 20019. The park has ample free, off-street parking and is metro accessible (Deanwood – Orange Line).  The service project runs rain or shine – severe weather as forecast on WTOP.com cancels.

The Gardens will have granola bars or other light snack for volunteers. Please bring a water bottle! All volunteers are strongly urged to wear clothing appropriate for the work at hand — long sleeve shirts, long pants, and no open toe shoes. You may also want to bring an extra set of clothes, just in case! Gloves and all equipment will be provided for you.  Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Volunteers with special needs should email the volunteer coordinator in advance of the event.  Please contact us at contactdcnoles@dcnoles.org should you have any questions.
