Seminole Club of Greater Washington, DC

Seminole Service Day 2015

Seminole Service Day

On March 21, 2015, DC Noles will join Seminole Clubs around the country to wear their FSU colors and uphold the Garnet and Gold by pitching in on local service projects in our communities. We are asking that you give of your time, not of your treasure – break a sweat, get your fingernails dirty, and represent FSU to the fullest!

Seminole Service Day 2015 – Saturday, March 21st
When: 10:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Where: Stead Park in Dupont Circle, 1625 P St NW
What to Wear: Long sleeves, long pants & closed toe shoes
What to Bring: Gloves, if possible

Rain, snow or shine, the event will run from 11:00 a.m. until about 12:00 p.m. with no registration necessary. But, please arrive no later than 10:45 am so we can start promptly at 11:00!  Please meet in front of the Stead Park sign on P Street. We will take a group picture prior to the park cleanup.

Appropriate attire includes long sleeve shirts, long pants and closed toed shoes. Please bring your own gloves, if possible. We will have a limited supply of gloves on hand, but can’t guarantee a pair for everyone. Trash and recycling bags along with drinking water will be provided.

Stead Park is located at 1625 P St NW, Washington, DC, 20036.  Parking is available in the neighborhood surrounding the park.  The park is also metro accessible – about 4 blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro Station (from the circle, walk east on P Street).

Only in the event of severe weather as determined by WTOP.com will the project be rescheduled.

We’re looking forward to a great event and opportunity to give back to our community on Seminole Service Day!
